Your Classic Sunset

Well Ok not your normal classic sunset image, but it's one of my sunset images in good old black and white. ( what else is there ? )
This shows Clew Bay and the Nephin Beg Range across the bay. It was taken from the beach at Old Head in Westport during a wonderful sunset.
I believe that Westport is my next trip away at the end of the month. I will be looking for a few more different locations along the wonderful coastline of Co Mayo to add to my collection. Sunsets like this one will not be available as its a different time of the year and the sun will be setting in a different position.

That's a beautiful choice for black and white. I love the reflection of the sun in the water and the sky looks so stormy with those dark clouds!
Dramatic and gorgeous as always, Neil! Really stunning shot! Have a great weekend!
It's a stunner, this photo; I already love Westport for its mountains and bay. The jagged rocks you captured here and the soft light clouds are a wonderful contrast.
Not everyone can make a sunset look great in B&W...but you can!
I love the drama and mystery you capture.
You know, I love a sunset and I love the colours but I gotta say, this way it makes you look at the textures and appreciate them. It is an awesome shot and an obvious sunset despite the lack of colour, maybe because of the lack of colour.
Great shot.
I LOVE monochrome shots. Thanks for something different. Nothing ordinary about this sunset image. Great capture!
Great shot.
Sydney - City and Suburbs

A black and white sunset?! What a fantastic idea. Thank you for this inspiration, I shall gice this a try.
What a moody, dramatic photo...
I really like it !
Great work....Happy SWF!
Wonderful b&w photographs here :) Very nice work!
You have a way of capturing the drama in your photos! Don't need colors when the result is like this!
And I love "your" tiger shots!
