This is your Watery Wednesday image.
This image was taken at the same location as the "Boats on Lough Sheelin" image. It was a lovely claim sunny day so I decided to use the water surface to capture the reflections of the clouds in the sky. We also have the reflections of the tree and the rock on the left. The water was very shallow at this point at the lake was like a mirror surface.
What a beautiful landscape, and a brilliant photo of it! The black and white makes it a little mystical!

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful....I like the light source hitting the rocky shore. The cloud reflection in the water almost looks like foaming water up against the rocks...I had to look twice! Great!

ReplyDeleteA stunner of a shot. I admire your patience in waiting for the perfect combination of light and shadow. Truly wonderful landscapes take that waiting and thoughtfulness time, although the click of the shutter is only takes an instant. Beautiful work.
