This is you
Scenic Sunday image.
The image shows
Derryclare Mountain and The Twelve Pins Mountains range also. This view
can be seen when you drive along the R344 between Recess and
Kylemore Abbey in the heart of Connemara. You can see the road in the image along with a small bridge over the river with flows into
Derryclare Lough. I had to wait a while for the clouds to break after a short bit of rain. This made for interesting shadows on the tops of the mountains.
Beautiful - the shadows on the mountains are very atmospheric. Has the old bridge been closed and replaced?
ReplyDeleteAnother great, artistic image, Neil. I like the bridge and the shadowy mountain peaks.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo with the clouds moving in. Looks a bit threatening.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot, very creative.
ReplyDeleteSuch an interesting photo. I see the compositional intent, creek to bridge to mountain tops. And you did catch those clouds and shadows on the mountain tops quite well.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. I like the shadows in the mountain peaks too.
ReplyDeleteVery artistic presentation. Love it.
ReplyDeleteA dynamic landscape drenched in mystery! Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteStunningly beautiful scene. I'd love to be there now!
ReplyDeleteVery artistic, I love shots done in black and white. The affect is so dramatic.
ReplyDeleteI love that old stone bridge.
Happy day!!:-)
